In 1972, Carl Weeks and his brothers, started the Augusta Transmission Clinic. It was a small but busy shop focused on taking care of people. Even then it was closed on weekends so the team could be with family, rest and recharge, and give the best service possible to the community.
Brian and Chris Weeks grew up in the ATC garage and on the local dirt track. They started racing go karts, then late model cars on dirt and asphalt and then road course racing from Daytona, FL to Watkins Glen, NY. With Brian as the driver and Chris as the crew chief, they made a great team.
Their love for cars led the Weeks to engineering school. They went to get better at racing but came away with a desire to excel at servicing cars and being ready for the future of cars.
In 1999, Brian and Chris Weeks bought ATC from their father and uncles. Coming off the racing circuit, Brian and Chris now focused on building families and the family business. Brian and Chris learned many lessons watching their dad care for people and their cars. Like putting people first, being a good steward and focusing on the small things to make a big difference. That spirit drives the business today.
