Share Some Christmas Cheer with a Friend in Need
It was the worst possible time for the car to break down.
The kids were tucked in bed; the Christmas cookies sat warm on the oven, and the glow of the Christmas tree bathed the tiny house in a soft, festive light.
She fought back tears looking at a photo of her smiling family, taken a little more than a year ago, before her husband was deployed. She and the kids missed him greatly. But the excitement of Christmas presents and visiting long-distance relatives had brightened their moods a bit.
Now, with a broken car that would cost hundreds of dollars to fix, the travel plans would be cancelled, and the Christmas presents would have to go back to the store.
Until a neighbor stepped up to help.
The holidays can be tough for many here in our CSRA community. Christmas is an especially rewarding time to help to those in need, but sometimes it’s hard to know how to help.
It can be overwhelming to watch our friends and family struggle to get by. Many families already pinch pennies to buy gifts, arrange travel, or have a special meal during the holidays.
So when something unexpected like car trouble happens, “deck the halls” can turn into “bah—humbug!”
[atc] Auto Center, in conjunction with NAPA, is happy to offer a practical way to help. We’re donating $500 of parts and labor to help someone get back on the road of life this holiday.
Visit one of our locations (Augusta or Grovetown) and nominate someone in need to receive up to $500 in auto service and repairs.
No purchase is necessary. Just fill out a short form to let us know who needs some help this holiday season and why they deserve it.
It may make a world of difference—for them, and for you.
“I will honor Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year.”
